May have had red interior originally? Anyone seen this one before?

I do not think red interior was an oe option on 84-86 verts looks to have had some crafty aftermarket red covering on the boot cover. And strange but do not remember this one.

Seats are cloth, which is wrong, red cover on tonneau is also wrong. The rest of it looks to be correct. Doesn't seem to be too bad, other than the obvious.

You can get titles through a title service.

For lost titles use www.its-titles.com

I've used these guys a couple of times and their service works great. They can do anything older than 15years.

I'd hate to see that scrapped just because of the title issue.

my '86 that I bought a year ago.....I have never gotten a title. It was never officially registered as it was used by the dealer owner then basically abandoned out back of the dealership. So it was never titled. Its a long long story with problem after problem, but the dealer has never supplied a title to me or a MSO. I know there are legal things I can do, but have been trying to get the title. Do you think a title service like was mentioned will work for me too? Any problems you can see?

Thank you for outbidding me on that one! Sounds like a mess! if i re-call the ad stated clear title or mentioned something about an mso? Not sure title service can help but may be worth a try. I do not hold carfax highley but It was new enough to have a carfax history it should show 0 or 1 if dealers story was correct did you run it it may show something more if the dealers story was incorrect carfax may show an old title #

Pete, as long as the car isnt salvage or stolen, you can get a title through ITS with no problem.

Basically they register the car for you in the state of Maine which that state doesnt require titles to vehicles older than 15 years. You can actually register a vehicle in that state with nothing more than a bill of sale.

So what you get from them is a transferrable registration in your name that you can take to your DMV to use to get a title in your state.

Like I said, it works great.

title

I know in Michigan, you can apply for a lost title. I would suggest running a car fax to make sure it is not stolen, then see what you have to do to get a title in your state, in Michigan this is all on line.

well its not stolen. The story is just as I said. I have been on the phone numerous times with the seller and the owner of the dealership. The MSO was lost and Ford won't send a copy or can't. What they did send was not accepted by PA. So its a mess. I'm small potatoes so I get over looked. The seller has agreed to buy it back several times, but I just kept holding out for the title. I'm sure he'll pay the $200 to get me out of his hair.
