I thought they were supposed to get the rear quarter blackout window treatments?

Everything else is correct, right? Except for the stripes.

I thought that the McLaren had gray piping on the seats instead of the red, as the red would clash with the orange exterior stripes.

No ..... Everything ELSE is NOT correct. This car is part of a group of 26 units that I have feared one day would come to light. THIS is THAT day. Sadly, I cannot put into print on a website any more about this group. I certainly do not need a lawsuit added to my problems. If anyone is seriously interested in purchasing this car, you may write to me, off board at my e-mail address. This is/was the "dark side" of the company that made our cars, That I was made aware of many many years ago. The cars in this sequence are VINs 619683 thru & including 619744. However, there is NO 619690, 619695, 619701, or 619703 thru 619735.

Sandy, you could not have piqued my curiosity any more if you had said that you knew who kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.

I don't know for sure but somebody mentioned some "fakes" that were made by some unscrupulous car company back in the day.

What's the deal with this?

I'm a new forum member, and I'm researching ASC's to buy. What is the story with this car? (Sandy, I couldn't find your e-mail address in your profile).
