What kind of roll bar you talking about. Just a regular old ugly rollbar, or one of those Saleen type style bars with the third brake light? I had a 1990 convertible Mustang that I installed a style bar in.

i dont think you are going to find what you are looking for here... also to put in the roll bar you will probly have to take out the ascmclaren storge tubs. with all that being said buy another 88 mustang vert. there are so many mustangs out in the world why chop yours up just to put in a roll bar. plus if you sell it one day to some dumbass it will just end up as another ascmclaren drag car wreck video

I'll have to admit that, though I am not an originality freak except when talking about the few pristine cars that are out there, I do not see why you would want to put one of these cars together like some sort of race car.
So, I have to ask; What's the deal with the roll bar?

But if it's a street car, frankly a roll bar can be a fairy dangerous thing. Don't get me wrong, to each his own, and in the end it is your car, but I can't see the utility.mclaren17891 wrote:the car is not stock in the first place. and its not going to be a all purpose race car. its just a safety thing. and i just want to do like a 4 point and add the doors caged too.
Now, if you wish to build a 2 pint, far enough back in the car so it will be safe, and blend it in to look much like one of those light bars, I can see it. But a 4 or 6 point? It will be very hard to make it fit under the top and be far enough away from any point where your body won't come into contact with it in the event of an accident.
