Well, I have had the car bonnet (Interior Protector) for a month.

1. It's use full and not hard to get used to. It takes about 3 to 4 minutes to put on ~~ working slowly, not rushing.

2. Once ya get the hang of it, it can be done in 2 - 3 minutes.

3. Very good protection from bird bombs affixing themselves to the perforated leather's little holes.

4. You will remember that the front nylon "tabs" are w-i-d-e-r and you place them UNDER the windshield wipers, allowing the wiper blade to rest ON the nylon tabs. the tabs extend beyond the material about 6 inches, and are about 3 inches wide.

5. There are 2 sets of elastic loops. These are attached to the cover. One set you hook around the exterior mirrors (2) and the other set you hook around the 2 exterior door handles.

6. At the rear are 3 more tabs, similiar to the ones in front - B UT, these have what looks like round wooden pegs sewed into the tabs, so that they cannot fall out. They are the size of a AAA battery.
You open the trunk lid and drop in the 3 tabs (with sewen in pegs) and drop the tabs into the trunk - and then shut the trunk. This is the locking feature. The cover cannot be stolen as tghe wooden pegs will not fit thru the crack of the closed trunk lid.

It is washable on "Gentle" cycle in a washing machine. Hang to dry / NO Dryer !!!! \

Sure it would work!
You'd slightly pull the door handle towqrd you,
like 1/2 an inch, and slip the elastic around the handle.
The other one loops around the exterior mirror.
In reality, you don't need to use both. They give you
two ways to go, in case you do not have a passenger
side mirror.
Believe me, it does not "fight" you. It goes on easily.

I've always wanted to find a cover like this for the Mustang..

I dont have a McLaren ( Wish I did. ) But, do have a satndard '85 GT vert that I think would awesome to get this sort of cover for.

I had a MGB just like that!!!!!

I sold it in '05 It was a blue '79 with black interior. I had the cockpit cover for it. It was in great shape.

I don't think I used it once. Kind of time consuming to put it on..... but if your intention is/was to park in the bright sun for 8 hrs. or park under a bird condominium, I guess its worth putting on.

I was just told California Car Cover makes one & e-mailed them.

But the biggest reason I want one is because my upolstry is bad & so are the hydraulics that operate the top, Not to mention the top is trashed.

So I figured why not hide all that & yet still be able to protech the interior?

Heck its summer & that mean time to keep the top down!

Besides I like being a bit different than most & this would fit that bill.
