Trying to buy 1987

Post by lost1988 »

I'm leaving tomorrow to make a 260 mile drive to North Carolina to try to negotiate a deal on this 1900 mile ascMcLaren that's still on the MSO. They want 17k but I'm going to try to buy it for 14 or 15k cash. Probably too much but how many are left like this. Does anyone know what color blue this is called.

Sandy, if you read this here is the VIN 1FABP40E1HF247632 if you can tell me anything about this car.

I like her.

BTW for anyone seeing only red x's...

Right click "show picture" and they will show up.

The site those car pics are on does not allow hot linking.

No, that one never came to light, to me, prior to now. It's a REAL beauty. Recaros in perfect condition, and the ubber rare Power Antenna ! IF that pin stripe is tape, personally speaking, i'd take it off. Otherwise it's 100% original. Atlantic Blue Metallic which is really 1986 Lincoln Mark Dark Blue
What state is it in? Will you close to me? (New Jersey) ~
Be sure to check if the screw releases from the tonneau!! Good Luck and do not lose it over a couple hunderd dollars.

I noticed that you posted photos of a Mclaren located in Hendersonville, TN. I live just north of Hendersonville and had seen this car advertized a few week ago. Just wondering if you live in or around H-ville? I had a 87 Mclaren that I let go in the early 90's. I have been looking for another Mclaren for the last a few years on and off but have not been able to find one in the condition and price range that my wife has approved.

The 87 you have found in NC look great. Hope it works out.

Wow! Very Nice!
I wish blue jeans, old cars, and boots would go out of style.

That NC car is just not going to work for me. It's more money than I can spend without having to take out a loan. Just as important I want car I can title and drive and if I title that car and put any miles on it I'm going to murder the value. No that car is going to have to go to somebody that can keep it as a trailer queen. FYI it's located at Sisk Auto Sales 628.245.3221 in Bostic NC.

The answers to your questions. Yes I live in Hendersonville and that white car is at Maple Motors. I had an 88 that was guards red with tan from 88 thru 92. I was all over Hermitage, Rivergate and Hendersonville back in the day and some people remember the car because I always ran a vanity plate that read "SO RED"
