The one thing that I'm not sure about is the cost to re-upholster/replace the Recaro seats. They are in horrible condition, I'm thinking I might replace them with Sparco, Corbeau or Recaro if the cost goes through the roof.
I paid $1100 to have mine recovered. They were not as bad looking as yours. The more intack the top side is the better chances the foam is good. Yours look ok. In the central parts of the US people have paid $600 to have them redone.
They unbolt easy and just drop them off for repairs.

Thanks, I had $500 each in mind so I'm not that far off.
FWIW, seat recovering is easy if Hank already has the upholstery.
I have recovered several sets of seats from 67 Cougar seats to 85 halo seats and so forth.
There should be no sewing or anything. Just clips and hog rings. You just need the hog ring plyers and some patience to work on some of the stubborn ones.

The recaro seats are not like normal seats. The whole center section of the seat back is floating and not attached to the outer seat skin. That means a lot more work on attaching the outer area.

If you can get them done for $700 per seat in real leather I think this is a good price. I had quote on leather skins last winter an it is VERY expensive. Goog luck!

The two rocker switches:
-The one with the little round light is for the seat heaters. Keep in mind there is no relay to turn it off.
-The second switch is momentary and pumps up the lumbar in the seat back.
Three blue square buttons:
-Each one lets air out of the seat back lumbar support so you can adjust it to you preferance.
I do have the manual someplace, maybe even a scanned copy.

I have the Recaros in my '86 Vert. I was over at Hanks place, in Odessa, and he showed me the operation of them. I would sure like a manual on them too. One of my speakers cuts on and off, depending on which way I'm turning. Nothing major but it is irritating.
Sandy, do you know if Pioneer sound systems were ever installed at ASC?
