someone oughta put a facebook like button on this site. it might help asc/mclarens get the recognition that they deserve.. i can see how that might help.. just an idea

I am not a big fan of Facebook. Their dealings and treatment of people's private information is atrocious.

Took ours to a Cruise In today. And, as expected, all the awards went to new cars (2009-10 Mustangs), 60-70's Chevelle's. Corvette's, every 55-56-57 T-Bird and those vehicles with the most amount of chrome under the hood. Mine. being stock, never restored and in great shape got a 3 second 'glance' from the 'judges.' They took one look, took the judging sheet and walked to a newer vehicle loaded with underhood 'bling,' and spent 3 minutes there. Oh well, if it was a Mustang GT I'd have been in the running!!
The wife is pleased. Not another trophy to dust! Did get a door prize, plus 2 free hamburgers and a dash placque!
Lots of really hot women walked by. And some that I'll have nightmares about tonite.
But our McLaren will never have 'bling' under the factory hood!

How mamy gold chains around the necks of the owners of the 'Stangs with bling on the engine?
Ever notice, that they are noticably absent at "Concours d' Elegance" ?

Kentennis, only connaisseur look at our cars. Or peoples that likes odd things. Probably just like us. Be proud of it and keep showing it, even if you have no rewards, some do appreciate these cars.
