Only $30k? Seems like the price may have come down to reasonable levels for these cars. I swear I've seen people wanting $50k for just the hatch version.

There were interesting back in the day but not earth shattering. All were snapped up by collectors. Probably 90% of those cars exist in pristine condition.

That thing had a sticker of $51,300? WOW. It sure looks corroded under the hood.

I'm with Kentennis. They do nothing to me. I saw those brand new at a Shelby convention when they came out and I was not impressed at all. To me it's just gimmick trim and stipes trying to resurect the Shelby spirit and make money out of it. Sorry guys!

To each their own I suppose....W/ darn near 300 horses, seems like a nice vette chaser to me.

..... But, I LOVE my ascMcLarens, much more.

Those SAAC cars had NOTHING to do with FoMoCo.
They were 100% aftermarket, whwereas FoMoCo
prepaired our 'Verts for the ascMcLaren conversion,
even going so far as addressing a FoMoCo in plant
order code ( D32 ).

I remember these when they came out. I've never cared for the stripe package on them from day 1. Everything else is fine.

Back then there wasn't many aftermarket packages or special editions as their are today. Seems like today there are dozens of special edition stangs.

These were very limited production thats for sure......
