DAMN!! My top wouldn't grab the 'hook' and lock down, when I put the top up to wash the car. I guess when I adjusted it so it did lock down properly I didn't get the locknut tightened enough and the adjusting screw backed all the way out.
It's so much fun trying to get that adjutment just right! Probably be an all day job.
Anyone have any experience with the adjustment from 'scratch?'
Top operation.

I hope you don't have to remove the latch itself. I had to remove the tonneau on mine to reach the bolt properly. My spring was all bent inside it and not usable.

Mine did that when I first got it. Popped open at 70 MPH. I cleaned the mechanism out real good. It did it again. I adjusted the set screw like Henry told me and that ended the problem. Till now. But the top's been down for a while and the set screw has a locknut on it. Mine came loose and backed all the way out of the threaded hole. Nothing's broke, nothing's dirty, it's just totally out of adjustment.
I was kinda hoping someone could say how many turns to start the adjustment process.
Guess I'll learn sometime this week.
