So who is ready??

Post by 85asc239 »

I have spring fever this year. It is end of March and still not one nice weekend to get car out or even work on it in the garage.

So who else is ready for spring to get here?

I'm from back east, so I know what you mean. But here in Phoenix we're out everyday and now we're getting ready for summer to set in and use our cars less in the heat.

Out with th 85

Took the 85 vert out today. Just put on the refurbished wheels and new tires last week. Had to get some new lug nuts too and finished putting them on today. McGard makes a nice set and locks.

Really getting itchy to get the cars out. Took the ASCMcLaren out of the garage for the first time this weekend. Put it right back in. Did take the Mustang for a short ride though.

Woke up to 3 inches of snow this morning. March has been absolutely miserable here. I hope it ends soon. Cabin fever is getting a serious grip on me.

We've had a lot of snow here this winter in Ks. Had another 7" Sat. The coupe has not been out of the garage all winter.

I took ours out to get a new state inspection on Saturday (ran out in June 2012) and was really tempted to put the top down even with temp's in the 50's. Only to get more snow Sunday aftenoon. I though is was already supposed to be SPRING.

Also from back east.. Detroit to be specific. Left all that behind almost 9 years ago now and will never look back. I am with you Hank, love the AZ weather. Even when it is 115 in July during the day, it is top down cruising weather at night! Hank, you doing the Sanderson Ford show on Saturday? Hope to see you there!!!

And did you ever visit the ASC plant while back there? Who knew, right?

Don't know about Sanderson. I didn't make Mustang night last week at Pav's since we started with breakfast at Joes Diner at 830am.

Hank,
When is the next Mustang night scheduled at Pav?
I finally have my SVO kind of up and ready to do a few cruises.

I hope you guys don't mind my posting a non-ASC pic on here. I don't have my Black Mac anymore and miss it.

4th Saturday is Mustang night but on any given Saturday you will find a good amount of 'Stangs. If my daughter has her way, we're there every Saturday.

Never made it to ASC... wish I would have. Hopefully the Detroit Muscle show at Sanderson will be fun. If you can make it out, we will be there. I am pretty sure there are stilll spots open.

I'm looking forward to Rt 66 in Sept. Sightseeing. Lunch someplace different. Cool weather. I forgot to ask Sammie if she could go this Saturday. We should have a movie night soon.
