Well we bought this one off this board 4 years ago with 28k and promptly sold it and now we just got it back on trade with 35k and its as good if not better now seriously its a real decent old gal! We just posted on ebay heres link! Call dealership with any ? 770-345-0282 thanks David

Very nice car. Just a couple questions.
The interior, the door panels to be specific, are different than my 85. Did they not use the custom door panels in the 86?
Also - the horn button and steering wheel look different. Original?

It has standard door panels and this car has cruise buttons so only choice is this wheel!

My 86 Capri ASC Vert has the SC-Door Decor package, Its a molded arm rest that is mounted over the factory door panel. Courtesy lights are added with reflectors. The power door lock switches are moved next to the power window buttons. This one on Ebay has the standard panel. But the horn button is wrong, It has the Ford logo in the center. It should be the Mercury CAT logo

My '86 also has the Pecan wood with the screws. This must have been an older build with them just being glued on. Nothing wrong with that but the little screws look neat.

Correct leather wrapped steering wheel the Merc horn center is in box in trunk.

The guy buying this one asked me to look into a proper fit car cover for vert! I got lucky and have a perfect fit cover for my 85 Capri pace car i have a genuine Ford Motorsport car cover for 82 Mustang Gt and it fits nice! Any ideas on one for the verts?

I use one on my '86 Coupe that is made for a '87-'93 Mustang GT. It fits like it is made for it. It has the mirror pockets in it. I had it from the '90 GT I owned and tried on the Capri. Maybe one for a Mustang convertible will fit it. I replied to his message as well.

By the way, your '85 Pace car looks great!
