Incase people have not heard David Beeke aka SVT1996cobra lost his battle with cancer.

He was a great help to many people on this board with info and parts and fox cars.

David's Final Journey

It is with a broken heart but with much peace and comfort that David made his final journey to Heaven last night on Thanksgiving evening around 10pm. He was in the arms of his children and myself. He fought a very courageous battle this last year. And even in his last moments he was still aware of everyone in the room showing his strength and determination until his final breath here on earth.

Visitation will be held at Langeland Funeral Home on 9th Street in Kalamazoo on Thursday, December 3rd from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The memorial service will be on Friday, December 4th at 12pm with a visitation prior from 10-11am.

An obituary will be in the Kalmazoo Gazette on Sunday and it will also be available on the Langeland Funeral Home Website.

Thank you for all your love, support and prayers for our family. David would like to leave you with these words "See You Again!"

Much love,
Carmaria, DD & Shelby

Prayers go out to his family.

I was hoping this wasn't the news we got at the end of this journey.

Nice guy always had great correspondence with him. He always told me he wish he had beaten me to buying my 85 GPIV from org owner. He knew fox body's well a true car guy! He will be missed! God bless him and his family.

Dave is a great guy. I am in charge of selling his parts hoard for the family. Going through some stuff today and found some ASC specific stuff. Please don't ask me what or bombard me with I want this and that. It is hard enough for me losing my best friend. I will post what I do find in the classified section here first. Owners of original ASC's should and will get first shot at the ASC stuff.
Thanks
Rich

I think he had a line on one of the fabled 1984 asc coupes...

Dang, I was hoping he would have found that....he was so dedicated to these cars.

Dave has a blue and Popsicle orange ASC. Myself and a couple other of his friends are in charge of getting it together for his daughter. He left his 85 Saleen to his son. Pretty lucky kids. We hope they appreciate them as much as their dad did. We will make sure they are taken care of.

OMG

I had no clue he was so sick. Dave was such a nice guy. I bought a set of wheels off him in 2007ish. I drove out to his house to get them. So sad to hear, my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
