whats my production number

how do i identify the production number of my acs, as far as i know its an early model 1988, possibly within the first 500 unfinished builds?

Sandy Block who isn't with us anymore had that information but it was never fully passed on. All we have is what is on this site.

You can try Hank in Florida and see if he has any info (ascmclaren.com).

Be aware that VIN numbers do NOT determine what plaque number you got. If you search some of Sandy's posts here you will see that cars were randomly pulled out of Ford's lot for conversions. Then at the end of the asc assembly line, they randomly pulled plaque numbers from a wheel barrow for 1988:

You can check the database on this site to see if it was reported.

For Some years, Sandy listed the VIN numbers but by 88 it was getting to be quite a few. I also keep a list and try to update/confirm the database listed here. I do not get around to it often. List the last 6 digits of your vin and I will take a look. List you city and state so I can add you.
