I like the looks of the 86 442 as well as the Monte Carlo SS, GN, T-Type, but didnt care for the Grand Prix of that era. They were classy lookers.

You should post some pics in your album here as well as a link to your other site you post at. This way it makes your cars more accessible to see.

On the GP, I liked the nose treatment they did on the 2+2, but the aero roof was silly looking. I always wanted to do one up with athe 2+2 nose, but not the roof, and make it an 80's GTO.

My FQuick site is www.FQuick.com/ProTouring442

I didnt care for the aero rear windows but they sure make good for a rare collectible. That style Grand Prix would have been the car to make a GTO out of back then. What a mistake it was to come out with that plain Jane GTO of recent years. GM can really save Pontiac if they wanted too, just think of all the hot cars they had over the years.

I really liked them! Aero Window & all. My local Pontiac dealer took TWO of them. 7 months later he STILL had them both !

Little known fact:

Not a one of them came with a electric rear window defroster! They didn't tool up for them, for such a limited run. Can you imagine that size and angle rear window, with no defroster ?? That was the bad part. They are more desirable today as a collectible than they were as a "new car" back then. About 2,200 were made.
Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

1990 Final Car prior to the 12 Silver Anny Editions
1990 Silver Pearl Anny Edition
1986 Coupe Full Pkg #109 of 114.

Poor Student. D+ C- C & C+ Always "B" in English. stunk to high hell in math. Freaking hated Math, got C to C+ to B- in Science, usually D- or D or D+ in Math, stunk in Gym, too. I was a klutz. Usually got a C- or C in Gym. History was terribly boring to me, but somehow I did okay on tests, usually got a C+ in history. My mind was always on girls & cars. Sadly, there was NO courses on Girls and / or Cars.

I got into American University (??? I guess my Dad's "Contribution" was "appreciated" ~ after my 2nd year (Sophmore) I was on a downhill run to flunking out, and I didn;t wanna do that ! So, I quick put into Temple University in Phila., Pa and was again accepted, so I returned for my Jr year to Temple. I was much happier there, no longer "homesick" and had a girlfriend. My Mom bought me a new car from the Chevy Dealer and things were bright.
I finished the Jr year with a B- (minus) average and finished my Sr. year with a C+ average, but not a single "D"

The next thing I heard was....
WHAT ! He wants to sells cars ?? After 4 years of college, he wants to sell cars ?? (That was my Dad, mainlining)

27 years later, "he was still selling cars."

Sorry ya asked ??

No, my Dad's friends were all lawyers, doctors, accountants and engineers. I used to thear them all sit around talking about how much they hated their chosen professions, outside of all the $$$ they made. I wanted to do what I liked, and that was cars, so I had little interest in histopry, math, science, etc.

IF IF IF I had it to do all over again....I would NEVER enter the car business ! NEVER ! I would have gone into public releations or writing.
