Michigan Asc Gathering

Post by knsstang »

To all the ASC's In Michigan. Let's pick a spot and get together. When I was at the Dream Cruise saturday I counted about 10 Delorens (including the Back to the Future edition), 25 plymouth prowlers( all in a row), and about 20 camaros. I have personally met about 7 people in the last 2 years with ASC's. I would love to get as many of these together as we can and meet the owners of these cars. I would like to hear their stories about how they became the owners of such fun automobiles, What mods if any that they have done to their cars. I will try to scan the site and pick a spot in mi that will be equal to everyone in drive time. I would appreciate any help thanx

I heard that you were there, yesterday. How's "Goldie" ?

I am in New Jersey, sorry, just too far to go....

To answer you, I became an owner in 1990, when they came out.
Neither have any mods, they are bone stock.

Mileage(s) are:

Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Ken, I'd be up for it. I'd really like to see your car in person.

I don't suppose I could talk the group into meeting somewhere south? like Monroe or Dundee? or even Toledo??

I won't be at the Birch Run show this year. AFter going last year, I decided its a little too far.

I know this may be a little off in the distance, but there's always Halloween Classic at Norwalk.

That way we can get Michigan and Ohio cars.

I've never heard of the Halloween Classic at Norwalk. Thats getting kind of late in the season. I've seen really nice 60-70s with sun halloweens and 30-40s rainy halloweens......

It doesn't have to be an actual car show at all. If a group of us just plan to meet at a certain location, we'll CREATE our own car show just by being there.

Halloween Classic is the last drag race of the season for us in this area.

Theres no official car show, but its a week long party and race. And you're right, some years are very nice, and others are rainy and cold.
But it was just a suggestion.
