No, it wasn not a Formal, nor Judged show. It was a show put on by the Alliance for awareness of the center of the town I live in. We had just shy of 100 cars. There was a 1st place award, judged by the committee who put it on, not really "car people" ! There was a 2nd and a 3rd place, too. (and) all of the people who displayed a car got to vote for their choice and THAT became the People's Choice. They could not vote for their own car, otherwise.....any car that they wanted to vote for. It was THAT - that I won, by a narrow margin.
#1 was a 1999 Corvette Convertible - Red, Tan gut & top. Totally (and I MEAN TOTALLY, chromed engine.

#2 was a rare Mercury Cougar XR-7 Convertible, from like 1967/68 XR-7 loaded with options - Light Green with Drk Green Roof / Leather

#3 was a car impossible to describe. It SHOULDA been #1. It was a 1964 Coupe deVille, in black, with 2-tone black & white interior of cloth and leather. The car was a total, 3 year restoration and she looked like the day she was made. Utterly flawless, Fact A/C blowing liquid ice,and power vent windows and and and..... She is a 100pt. car at the Cadillac nationals !!

1,2 & 3 could NOT be voted for, for people's choice. The awards for 1,2,& 3 were done at 8:25PM and THEN everyone displayig a car could vote for their choice, excluding #s 1,2 or 3. The winner was I. I won by 2 votes.

I got a 6 x 8 inch plaque stating
