1989 for sale (1 of 2 !!)

I have finally decided that I am too busy to take on any other projects. So, I am selling my 1989 Mclaren. It need very little and is very rare, but I have too much on my plate to do anything with it. I am listing it on here for $11,500 for the next few weeks and if it doesn't sell I have a local person that will fix it up for me and sell it for the profit over this amount.

Hi Cali,

Some information about the car will surely help anyone interested. For example, people generally like to know the options on the car, mileage, cars condition, problems and see pictures. If you provide this type of information it helps everyone out.

Sorry, I was in a hurry and had to leave. It is gold with beige interior and a tan top. It has 76??? miles. I have pictures, but they are high mp. so they take forever to load, but I will add a link to the ebay add from when I bought it. [/img]

It's a beauty. My wife said, "Absolutely NOT" ~ By the way it was listed at 78,400 miles when on e-bay.

It's not the cost of the car - it's the cost of another rented storage space. My current monthly storage costs are $537.00 (or $6,444 @ yr.)
Yours would add an addition $125 to $150 @ month...... and THAT is THE problem !

That was my problem, then we decided to build a garage. Not have one built, actually build it with our four hands. Thats why I have no time. It sounds like you need to build a garage (have one built that is!!)

We have a 2-car garage, in which resides my '03 Town Car & my wife's '01 Cherokee Limited. Out in the Driveway lives our son's '07 Mazda 3 GT. The 3 ascMcLarens ('86 Capri Coupe and 2 1990s are in storage @ the $537 @ month. There is no more room on the property to build a bigger garage. The insurance is dirt cheap on the McLarens. I also have a brand new 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special, the last Sixty Special ever made. That's also in storage, but that one is FREE ! Free because it's an elderly lady who lives alone and when we go food marketing, we pick up her list and her signed blank check and buy what she needs, which is usually under 12 items. She appreciates this, especially in the winter. She's pretty much home-bound (86 years) and has a nice & clean 1 car garage & the 60-Special lives there. It's walking distance away, too.

I really like your car, but cannot adopt it under the present situation.
I hope it goes to someone who will keep it stock and appreciate it for what it is and does not yank out the stereo, cut bigger holes in the tub for Krayco Speakers, dump the rims for 19"-ers and take her to the drag strip and ultimately pull & trash the tranny for a 5-speed and finally drive it into a tree.

She sure is sweet, but definately not original (the cali). I understand about the room. We now have 1/2 the yard we used to, but we are putting a bathroom in the new garage, so I guess I can send hubby out there if he irritates me so it is a pretty good compromise!

My hubby asked me today if he could buy it. It's breaking his heart. You saw the other one that we sold didn't you. He is still lost without it. He has a coronet 500 and 440 that I told him he could get rid of and keep this one. I know... I'm mean.

Yeah, a coronet 500 out of the to be garage and a coronet 440 out of the to be garage!!! 2 less cars for the price of one.
