yeah thats an ASC McLaren one as aposed to the one i saw on that 83. this one has sunk in fog lights the 83 didnt

thoughs louvers are strange never seen a capri with them... i love louvers but NOT on a capri yuck!

Alot of people like those louvers because they hide the bubble. I agree I don't like them too much....I like the wing better....it gives the bubble a "porsche" look

actually, the louvers were sold through Mercury dealers parts departments from 1983 to 1986. About 1987 to 1988 all remaining inventory was trashed. I get so many requests from bubble back owners to find these. They were the only ones that would ever fit bubble back Capris, and only 1 company made them, and they made them under contract to Ford. More people seemed to have wanted them on USED Capris, then did when they were brand new. I knew of a guy in Wisconsin who had a 1985 Capri, totally trashed, worn out, but had the louvers, which were in very decent shape. He sold the car for $125.00 but removed the louvers from it & sold them for $350.00 !!!
