My Site UPDATED - finally

Post by n20capri »

I've been working on it for years but finally got off my a$$ and finished it.
Over 1000 pics and a ton of vids...all the galleries are dynamic now so updating with new pics/vids will be easy so it should stay more up-to-date...
Check it out.

It's a beautiful site and the REAL DEAL ! It shows alot of work and good layout design. All bases covered and explained. Perhaps a bit overpowering for the novice or newcomer, but better to be so, than to let down the armchair experts.
If I can make a full recovery, I will drive my coupe this summer (2008) some and while not racing it, just do some Back Roads New Jersey touring-type drives. Have a happy holiday Season, Mike.

When a person, who has always enjoyed flawless health, suddenly, over a period of 7 weeks (and that's considered "sudden" in the context of a lifetime)......suddenly comes face-to-face with immenient death, due to cancer, alot changes. One usually regrets not what they did, but what they didn't ....
This is not to say that I will not take supreme care of them, I will, but, God willing if I am able - I will do the cars & myslef a favor and take them the heck outta the city-scape I reside in and visit places in New Jersey that are frequently photographed for greeting card covers, and take some photos of them, too.
We are very over congested, vehicle-wise, here in Jersey and traffic jams and rear enders are as commom as ice pops in the summer. But, once you can find your way outta the web of Camrys & Accords and find a road to visit the cows (milk farms) on, you can really enjoy a unique car.

I will take each for such a ride. Right now, however, my immediate goal is to make it to my birthday, December 13th ~ which, this year, coincides with the end of Chanukkah ! Then, my next goal is to make it to Christmas, and to watch Silent Night - Holy Night on TV, and then to make it to New Years eve, and welcome 2008, because 2007 truly sucked !

Sandy, you better meet those goals, and then some! As for the sudden change in attitude, well Alice, things look very different on the other side of the looking glass! I try to live with a quote by John Muir in mind, "Most people are on the world, not in it." We (my wife and I) don't always manage to do it, but we really try to bring to each other's attention things like sunrises, sunsets, butterflys, etc. Anything that's just "damned cool!"

Keep up the spirit Sandy, you'll do just fine!!!

Shiny Side Up!

'Ya, I hope so. I need to regain ALOT of lost strength, and weight. I look not so good.
In Jewish tradition, when a loved one dies, immediate family members cover the mirrors in the house with cloth - so the grieving do not have to so how badly they look, due to their grieving.

I looked at me. I wanna take the freakin mirrors down and put them out for Monday's trash collection !! ('Ya, THAT bad!)

Mike, the only effect that I must confess I do miss on the new site - is your car commin' at-cha!! in that rectangle at the very beginning of the old site.

Might that be workable at the end, as in a sign-off ... ?

Not to repeat myself and others, but I have to say, you have talant, and computer-abilities many of us (me included) can only stare at in wonderment. Are your McLaren & Dad's GT away, now, for the winter? What do you drive to work? What goes to the supermarket for the food goodies ?

Thanks everyone!

Sandy, I have a '92 Accord that's my daily driver but neither car is away ever. If it's not raining or wet out we cruise. I have the Capri out regularly on the weekends...:)

Now if only I could get a permanent job doing this stuff!!! :)

If you want a permanent doing it - you will find it. You might have to locate to Center City (Phila.) and - personally, I'd rather be in your neck of the woods. Princeton is booming, that's not too far, is it ?

Start your own company. You're young. When you own your own company, you can't get fired. Remember that ! Undercut others prices, get clients. In 10 years others will look to you, to copy.
You can do it !! I know you can !!

Look at the car you built ! If you can build a car like that, that goes beyond designed in limits, just do the same for a computer design company. The big boys charge us computer dummies all kinds of $$$ fro web design. Undercut the prices, & give 1 on 1 face tot face service and build a client listing 1 at a time. It can & will happen.
