I have subframes on my Capri and they are definitely worth it. I have the Kenny Brown ones with the seat brace. They are nice and only like $100. There are other companies selling "full length" versions that are a little more involved but not too bad. Then you could go with through the floor versions that would require some fab work to tie into the floor pans. Whatever you do they are worth it...just make sure to get the weld in versions.

I believe they have the X-brace up front and the re-enforced pinch welds down the side...My coupe has those too...

They do not affect adding aftermarket subframe connectors though. You might have to remove the stock front X-brace if you wanted to go with that MM piece but I'm not 100% sure on that.

BBK makes some good, strong, affordable subframe connectors with seat supports.

I've seen lots of Fox mustang floor pans ripped around the back bolts of the drivers seat.

I've also seen quite a few broken seat frames.

Strut tower braces also help alot with cowl shake on convertible cars.
