Did all 86 verts come with the covers on the head and tail lights?

Most. I do believe that factory original rate being 68%
It was also available on the 6 Cylinders.
About 167 out of the 245 made for '86.
As a matter of fact, the installation rate was greater ON the six cylinders, due to a springtime dealer promotion, that REALLY increased the dealer's profit margin.
If a dealer ordered an '86 Vert WITH the 6 Cyl. he got the above package FREE. In other words, it was listed ON his invoice for that car, as N/C
(No Charge) ... BUT was listed on the car's Maroney Sticker (Window Sticker) with the full price of the pkg.
Thusly making the car MORE expensive, for the buyer, but cheaper for the dealer.'
Few were the number of active ascMcLaren dealers who did not jump on this opportunity. Sadly, the cars in stock, with this package, without the dealer perk sat & sat & sat once the Spring Specials arrived.
How can ya spot one ? The Red, Black and White were NOT offered on the "specials" ~
The Specials were in Atlantic Blue; Paris Blue or Sterling Silver.
Interiors were Charcoal, Sand Beige or Regatta Blue. Roofs were Black, Atlantic Blue or Tan.
