Took my car out for a change

Post by 75coug »

My local SVT Club had an informal get-together at a legendary drive-in, and I decided to take out the McLaren since it was a nice evening. In typical fashion, I took a camera with batteries that were shot, and therefore did not get the kind of photos that I wanted.

One other guy snapped a few pics, though. Here is the one that best featured my car.

As is the norm, my car drew a lot of quizzical looks and a couple of people running to the rear to look at its badges in an effort to figure out what it was.

A couple of the SVT guys owned a Capri back in the '80s, and thought that the McLaren was pretty cool.

Here are a couple of better photos that another club member took. I'm the dorky guy in the red shirt and red hat. I like red things.
