1988 OWNERS, PLEASE READ

I have this day recieved a note from a gentleman who had at one time owned a 1988 ascMcLaren, in AzurA Blue Pearl. He has not owned her in some time, however, he has found a lot of paperwork that pertains to THAT car. He'd really like the current owner to have it all - but has no clue who owns the car, now. Therefore he sought me out to find out if that owner is on this site ! IF you have an AzurA Blue 1988, please post below the Dash Plaque number. IF it's HIS car, you will send me in a PM your address and I will forward same to this man, who in turn will send you the paperwork. There is no fee. I assume that he does NOT have a record of his car's VIN, but is positive of his dash plaque number. Just post your number and nothing else so that it would be easy for me to delete.

'ya, it does seem that way. SHAME ! I believe he has all service records, owner's manual, window sticker and more....

Maybe you should see if you or a Azura Blue owner can get them so they can be viewed and saved incase the car does show up.

What about doing a carfax of the Vin#?

He says he does nt have the VIN - it's been a very long time, and he has had 4-5 cars since then. I asked if it's on any of the paperwork and he said he didn't know. (It probably is...)

I can't believe with all of the paperwork he has, that he doesn't have the VIN. Service records and the window sticker should have that info.....

I know, and I thought of thst, also. But, AT THAT POINT, I felt that I don't wanna push him - verbally - beyond what he offered to me and some crazy way.... I actually thought that the person would be on here.

Sorry that's not the Dash Plaque of the car.

I obtained the VIN BTW, guys and fed it to CarFax and Car Fax has no records for it. (So they said)
