I have plenty of toys left to keep me busy, him and mom are having a ball driving it on the weekends down in TN. The wheel he needs is anthracite, but he owned a bodyshop for years so he can paint one of another color. If someone can help him out, Thank you. Alan

Sheesh, man! A little more info!

Being anthracite, it has to be the mesh style? Not the later wheel?

And what type of mesh? The outside loading or inside loading kind for the caps?

Sorry about the lack of info, I think I remember them being inside loading center caps, I'll call him and have him take a look. Yes, they are mesh wheels. I do remember seeing "made in Italy" cast into the wheel.

That would sound correct. The inside loaders were on the later cars. He better check though.

I have a spare, spare anthracite wheel. It may be the type that says MSW instead of ascmclaren, but I need to check.

Thanks alot guys, I really apreciate your help. I called him and he said the caps snap in from the front side of the wheel, and the cap has a small hard to see red stripe around it. I'm sure he would be thrilled to find either wheel at this point. Where would he look to see if it's stamped msw or ascmclaren? Thanks again, Alan

i always thought the ascmclaren wheels loaded from the frt and the msw wheels loaded from the back.

make sure you get the same wheel as you have... they look the same but they are NOT.
