Remember this be the Last official Rondeveiw for the Mercury Capri's for 2010.
Lets see if we can get more then two GP PACE CARS this year !!!! and a few Verts would be nice And I do not want to hear it is to far ....I am coming down from Frankenmuth ! (A 2 hour Cruise ) Where the hell did I hear that before.

PS : It was fun to commemorate The 85 GP IV Mercury Capri's 25th Birthday at Michigan International Speedway . With 7 laps around the track And yes I did sneak it up over the "Ton" mark on the back Straight away and into turns 3 and 4......sure felt good pressing into the seat on the High Bank ! Went racing against a Silver GP Pace car (Dam silver cars are a tad faster them thar white ones (LOL) Thanks to Mark for arranging the party ! Once I get a release from the Professional Photog I will post a few Pictures.

Just a tad far for us too. Actually, I'd like to take one whole summer and go around the country with one of our cars. entering shows as we go.

Thatr would be a blast but would require us to buy a motorhome, which we are contemplating doing anyway!

Time's running out for us 'old guys', should have done it years ago with my first classic Corvette. But back then I had to (OH GOD, I hate this word), 'work.'

Due to getting tired-out quickly, and the long length of most shows, and due to the new rules in effect that IF you are showing a car you MUST stay until the end, for the safety of those on foot, I no longer take any cars.
Due to the Chemo I recieved 2 X @ month, The heat, the Sun and the Humid conditions, I cannot tolorate being out in such conditions, for more than 90 minutes. I did go to about 6 shows - very locally - this year. One such show begins at 6PM and is over at 9PM SO... I do not have to "deal" with the SUN !
I went to one All Cadillac Show, and the others were open to all shows.
You guys are in your 20s, 30s, & 40s (for the most part) I am 63 !
You will come to see at 63 it's not so easy, in climatic conditions of 89 degrees and humid ! Then, toss in Chemo for Cancer 2 x @ month, and see what the "H" that does to you!

Say Sandy .......I am just shy of 50 (by 4 months) Egads AARP territory .
I can understand a bit .....I do get fried by the end of the day at the bigger shows ......I now wear a large rim hat for that reason .....My mini bald spot gets burnt easily .
What a shame a hermetically sealed Capri ......Does the 5.0 ever talk to you and say " Just once would you let me go outside " ?. LOL, Poor thing .! It's a house Cat or I mean Car.

Hope to see many at Monroe !!!!
