Help me identify my mclaren

Just brought home my 88 mclaren dash code says 936 vin code is 197153 it runs drives has white paint which is now questionable due to me and a friend chipping off a piece discovering the current white over blue over red it has a tan top and beige interior with recaros 26637 miles and the numbers are straight and registration and smog papers are saying 20xxx miles so I think I'm good there please help me out
As for paint the engine bay is black but the core support jams and all is flawless white the only place we found the layered colors is under the falling non correct GT side skirt along with a gt rear bumper

James, you might want the recheck those numbers. The database has 936 as vin 266259. Black,tan top and 39k miles back in 2006. It could be wrong in the database..... The ASC repaint has the under hood area masked off. I am pretty sure red cars came as red under the hood. Black cars were used for a complete color change.
