How to value my car

Post by padann »

I have a 1986 ASC Mclaren Coupe originally purchased by my father, brand new. It is bone stock original with 84k miles on it. Never driven in winter. Not a bit of rust. Paint (re-painted once) and interior are in great condition. Rims need to be re-furbished (corrosion), AC needs to be re-charged, and I don't believe the radar detector works anymore. The only thing the car really needs is a good detailing and some very light TLC. It really is in amazing condition.

My question is.....what is this car worth?

If I could figure out how to post a picture here, I would!

She looks really nice. They are tough to find unmodified like that.

My guess is $6k-$8k? More? I know I wouldn't take less than $6k for that car based on your description.
