84,85,86 verts

Post by mpduncan35 »

In the past few months, I have gotten 85 vert #282 running. New fuel tank fuel pump. It started right up after sitting for 17 years. The tires are bad 25-year-old tires that have been flat for 17 years don't ride the best. I found out why they don't make square tires. So it needs new tires more things to the list. The car is in storage and planning on getting it out in the spring/summer. The cars still need to be run to iron out some of the problems.

86 vert #48. This car has pretty much never sat for more than a year. It also has tires that are 25 years old but haven't flat spotted as bad. But it needs new tires. The exhaust on the car is gone. Rusted out on both sides need to weld it back in. The car is not rusty at all when driven in the summer anyone know why?

84 vert #30. A similar story with the 85 has been sitting for 14 years. New fuel tank fuel pump new radiator and a rebuilt carb new tires. I plan on taking this car to most of the car shows. Hoping to bring all three cars down to motor city foxfest/woodward. This car is also in storage. But this car is weird it does not have Recaro seats it has 86 seats. When my great-grandfather got the car it had cloth foxbody Mustang seats but came with these ASC seats. Also, the car has a third brake light which was not on any cars until 86. Not 100% sure if it is wired up I think it is. It also has dual exhaust 99% sure it is aftermarket.
I am excited to get these cars back on the road and am excited for car shows this summer.
