I don't think Sandy has ANY numbers for 84 except for the 50 verts made.

would it being green hurt the value of the car? and under the hood looks kind of like flat black does that sound like a factory black one?

Cars with BLUE interior left the assembly line at Ford in WHITE. Cars that had ANY OTHER interior color, were made in BLACK.
This pertains to 1984-1986 ascMcLaren Converts AND 1987-1990 Ford Mustang ascMcLarens.

In 1987 (1st year for the Mustang McLaren) a color called "ALPINE GREEN METALLIC" (an actual Ford Mustang color was listed as an available ascMcLaren available color. I was told that 1 - possibly 2 were made - - but when I got the listing from ASC, there was NO Green car on it.

ive tried to figure it out and under the hood is black and behind the trip so i was thinking it may be an original black car. will the vin tag on the door have the correct color code on it or just be the previous color before the modification? thanks

to be honest your one of the only people on here with an 84

its very rare to come across an 84 vert. and to find an 84 coupe is un heard of...

i dont think sandy has a vin listing for 84 or 85. but if you send him your vin and your cars number he might beable to tell you what color it should have been.
