Change In Plans !!!

Post by bleedblue427 »

Well (sandy LOL) I have changed the plans with my 85. I found a RS nose finally so there will be no Saleen Ground Effects going on it!!! But I still plan on painting a different color (Dogde Viper Blue) and updating the rear tail lights to the mustang. Just thought I would share that ........

I like Viper blue (it's what's on my Cobra), but I think a Capri vert in Coupe blue with the orange wheels & stripes would look awesome. With the ground effects of course. Wait, wait - don't do it ... I would probably be compelled to try and buy it from you.

I like that blue too and that is a thought but I have the Viper Blue already bought. Bought it for another project that I never finished. Used it on a 78 bronco and looked Great!!!!. But you got me thinking on the orange coupe stripes ???? HMMMMM and my friend was going through his shop and found the capri side skirts so those are going on with the RS nose. NOT using the the orange wheels but going with the 16 in Crown Vic sport wheel wheels that look similar to the mclaren wheels

I didn't chime in earlier, but you do her up proud. There's no damn sense in spending $20k to make a $10k car. I really want to build this: (I'm at work so I can't play the image game, I'll add later) In a couple more years I'll start. Not w/ the yellow car, but I'll find something.

Lol, give some of these old timers heart failure and air brush some-kinda-warrior-angel on her too!
I wish blue jeans, old cars, and boots would go out of style.

Dont want to go with stack tailights but the mclaren mustang tail lights. I dont want it to blend. I want to keep the Mclaren uniqunestt LOL. would also like the mustang mclaren door panels. Other tan that she is staying very close to stock looking on the outside. most of my mod are going to be drive train. 32v 4.6 t56 trans and an IRS 5 lug and crown vic 16 in sport wheels the web design similar to the stock rims
