Friendly bet it doesn't sell to a real buyer?....
Or doesn't hit the minimum bid?
Again like I posted in this thread, nice looking car just odd bid jumps
If you follow these cars and how eBay works, your car has jumped too much too fast with that many days left to be legit
I can only hope your car sells for $20k, mine will be worth that much more but in reality that is not the market nor the case
Prove me wrong, we both win.....

If you have never bid on a item on Ebay let me give you a few facts:
1. Automatic bids can jump the bid quite a bit. You bid an amount. The bid only goes up the minimum. If it's an 'automatic bid' and someone else has placed an 'automatic bid' the price will go up to the highest limit on the bid. I've bought 5 vehicles over Ebay and about another 100 collectible items.
If you don't understand how Ebay works, then you might wonder why the sudden jumps. You can click on the bids and then click on 'show automatic bids' and it will tell you all about the bids.
A lister is not allowed to bid on his own items.
And in checking the seller, he has a perfect rating on over 100 transactions on Ebay. Both as a buyer and a seller.
And the 'reserve' is not a minimum bid. It is a minimum price that the seller will accept.

Thank you kentennis for your comment ! Finally someone with some common sense lol ! It's funny ... They said the same thing about the last black 86 that was on eBay ... He"s bidding on his own car ! This is a rust bucket ect ect!.. Everyone in this group owns one or more of these cars . makes me laugh when people piss on the owners and there cars when there trying to sell them ... In the first 2 days I had over a 100 watchers and 800 views .. 8500 bid lot better than 5 years ago .. So we should be happy these cars are gaining a little more interest .. There worth what someone will pay for them !! I'm almost embarrassed what I paid for my 86 coupe .. But if you want one your going to pay what you can afford .... To restore one or show car it's going to cost you the same in the end
I've been on ebay as a seller and buyer since 1999 with over 1200 transactions. What you call odd bid amounts are not unusual in any sense and in fact most often signal a more savvy ebayer than someone using even amounts. In other cases someone may bid the highest amount they're willing to spend but the actual price only goes as high as the next increment from the next highest bidder, til someone else comes along and does the same thing. Cut this seller some slack.ct_gsxr1000 wrote:Friendly bet it doesn't sell to a real buyer?....

Thank you for the eBay lesson and character reference
If you have knowledge of how the scams work, you would understand my bidding on his own item reference, maybe I am just a bit skeptical due to past practice or how I have watched certain things happen before. As for the car selling for good money, you obviously didn't read my prior comment as I benefit from you selling yours for more owning one myself!? Maybe I was taken back by a person with 1 post calling me a jackass hahaha. Sorry for the hurt feelings, I will refrain and not post my opinion any further
