Mike incredible pics! I always loved your car, very sharp looking well maintained. A car even Sandy could love. lol. I noticed you changed the intake from the Cobra, have things improved with the new set up? I still have your cam waiting to go in my car, nothing like being patient lol. Take care.

PS They sell clear transparent hoods on JC Whitney mostly for ricer cars. I contacted the company that makes them and expressed interest in them making them for Mustangs. Who knows maybe someday.

Nick I missed this reply earlier...sorry. The intake seemed to help a lot. I've yet to get back to the track though so I don't have any numbers.ASCMCLRN wrote:Mike incredible pics! When me and dad raced on the street before it would be dead even if we both jumped at the same time...with the new intake I pull on him like a MF. Even if he gets the jump...
C'mon dude get that cam installed...hehe

Mike, I am sure you did your homework on intakes, what made you choose this particular model? I always got the impression the GT40 was one of the best intakes made, how did that rank in your decision making? Take care.n20capri wrote:Nick I missed this reply earlier...sorry. The GT40 intake is a good intake but for mildly modified applications...I'm well beyond that...lol. Remember, I already had a ported Cobra intake on there and that's virtually the same as the GT40...
There are a lot of tests out there and the Victor performs great all the time. Also, I'm spinning my new combo pretty high and the Victor is also made to rev. However, the main feature was that I could get the valve covers off w/o removing the intake...and with adjusting the valves of the solid roller that will come in handy.
