An ascMcLaren forum for 84-86 Capri and 87-90 Mustang based cars modified by Automotive Speciality Corporation, a Division of American Sunroof Corporation. (no affiliation)
i have a fresh rebuilt engine sittin in my mustang thats gotta a cam and headers and a beefed up aod i thought about swapping in but i think its better off just as a driver
84's are a tough nut to figure a value for. They are super low production, some of the first ascs...BUT people still gravitate to the 85+ cars with the higher HP and roller engines.

Under Restoration
yeh im not to sure yet i have an idea based on a decent looking running driving car and similar price to a mustang. it would make someone a nice car that wants a mclaren but cant afford the 10k up prices i have seen on some and have a driving car.
I was just looking at the pictures of the car. I like the green color, but those are not 84 seats. At least, they do not look anything like the seats in our 84 convertible, #26. Any thoughts from anyone regarding the seats just being redo, or could they be from a newer year. The location of the controls and the headrest were the first things I noticed.
I looked through the online photo albums and those seats do not appear to match any year model. I'm guessing they were restored or from a different car. They do look very nice and seem to fit the car well, probably more comfortable too.
