Sandy,
You will be remembered and missed.
I talked to Sandy a couple of times over the phone. The man was just flat out interesting. He could talk to you about anything......... Cars, Life, Places, Cruises, You Name It!

I wish blue jeans, old cars, and boots would go out of style.

WOW.....I just heard of Sandy's passing at the Woodward cruise today.
Strange story. I'm parked in Mustang Alley. Older guy comes up and asks who's car. I stood and was going to ofer background. Much to my surprise he says "you know I built your car". The guys name is Howard. As I understand he did all the final inspections, road test, approved for shipping and basically knew every car inside and out.
As we walked around the car he pointed out so many littleitems much Sandy would have known. COurse he doesn't remember ever building my color combination. However mine is basically 1 of 1.
Anyway, back to Sandy. The guy I bought my car from (Rod, the original onwer by the way) knew Sandy very well. I received with my purchase a 3 ring binder with loads of hand written communictions between Sandy and Rod. I later comunicated through email with Sandy who said I had purchased a piece of history. Sandy was a great friend and a wealth of knowledge. He will be missed.
Thanks for all the advice Sandy.

Great guy!
I have not been on Board in months and decided to log in today and got the news! Very sad to hear! And he will be missed but he is in a better place and much better off so those thought comfort me! The first time i talked to Sandy was back in 96 when i was trying to buy a 85 ASC Coupe and i called him and he verified the car was a real one and told me what to look for! After that we talked many times and corresponding almost countess times on this Board we had a common bond being in the car business we just about always spoke the same language! I wish i would have know about this sooner so i could have paid my respects at the proper time! Sandy you will be missed and it was a true pleasure every time we talked! Your Buddy Mosley!
